Inc. was founded in 1993 as a service organization offering
independent mechanical and electrical services to the
graphic arts industry in Ontario, Canada. In 1994 United
Press moved into a 2,300 square foot office/warehouse
facility which allowed us to rebuild and recondition
used equipment for resale. by 1996 it was time to move
again to a larger facility. With this move it became
clear that our clients demands made it necessary for
us to add new products and services to meet their needs.
Later that same year we had our first open house to
introduce the MG Die Cutter to Ontario, which necessitated
in 1997 United Press bringing it's first sales person
on board. Once again we out grew our facility and in
1998 we moved to our current 7,300 square foot building.
We now have the space to receive overseas containers,
warehouse inventory, rebuild and recondition used machinery
and thoroughly test new and used equipment prior to
delivery and installation. |
| Our staff of highly trained professionals
has collectively hundreds of years experience to offer
our clients. They all have significant backgrounds with
manufacturers such as Sears, Heidelberg, Rockwell International,
Solna Offset, Komori, Mitsubishi and Miller Printing
Equipment. Today we provide service to all makes of
paper cutters as well as selling and maintaining our
fine line of products. |

As
of March 1, 2004 United Press & Bindery Service
Inc. has purchased the copyrights and manufacturing
rights from Computerized Cutters Ltd. ( Gergek Computer
Systems ). United Press will continue to supply
parts and service for the Gergek Product Lines of
Computers, Safety Beams and Cut Controls. We will
continue to manufacture and upgrade the computer
systems under the new name of "Digikut".
We will offer two systems a Digikut and a Digikut
Junior. We have already made numerous upgrades to
the systems to offer greater stability and a new
look appearance. Our goal is to strengthen our market
share and increase our dealer network by providing
affordably priced reliable products that our dealers
and customers will have confidence in.
We
are also manufacturing our new CX1 cut control units,
this will replace your old cutters wiring systems
give you todays new PLC technology in your cutter.
Today
we provide mechanical, electrical and hydraulic service
to all makes of paper cutters as well as selling and
maintaining our fine line of products. |
