I want to go home to the U.S. – How I can make the transition back?

I am living in Taipei, Taiwan, where I have been for 3 years. I want to go home to the United States (Rhode Island) and I wonder if you can find a job before arriving (This is the biggest concern / emergency) So my question is – how I can get a job before you go home? In addition, there are support services – Information for expats returning home after a long absence? Thank you all.

Indeed, three years is not long. Thousands of people in their shoes and they usually do quite well, many in the work government or the military. Just remember that your current employer thought he had the ability to adapt to the new lifestyle of Taiwan. Now they are returning home, so it will be easier than the removal of 3 years. Wherever you go in the U.S. can find jobs, apartments or homes online. Yahoo has these tools on the homepage. Www.realestate.com can also search for housing. USAJOBS Look for work in the federal government if you have never done that before. Check out Hot Jobs Monster.com or Yahoo's page for jobs. America is much more "connected" for this kind of thing that even three years ago. Check out the Welcome Wagon or Chamber of Commerce of the community wants to live, they have been helpful to me in my last move. Good luck!

The root of your writing wlhist appearing reasonable at first, did not sit properly with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you actually managed to make me a believer unfortunately just for a short while. I still have a problem with your jumps in logic and one would do nicely to help fill in all those gaps. If you can accomplish that, I could certainly end up being amazed.
