Industrial Makeup Air Units

Canada Blower Co. offers a variety of Industrial Makeup Air Systems for large industrial plants needs ventilation. Improved in the industrial environment can produce substantial benefits in terms of increased production, reduced errors, and a decrease in complaints and absenteeism among employees.

Air handling units and air makeup pressurization applications have the following characteristics:

– Output of the temperature is monitored with a probe mounted near the exit of the unit.

– Approval of management of air temperature is set at the control panel or using a remote control station.

– Entry of gas is "modulated" by a Butterfly valve, actuator, and controller.

For heating, a room thermostat is used to control the outlet temperature. In a call for heat, the unit will provide warm air to the maximum allowable temperature until the room thermostat is satisfied. Once satisfied, the unit on or off, or will operating temperature reduced output.

A replace option can also be supplied. In this case, a room thermostat occurs in addition basic system. The unit is based around the stove when the temperature drops too low.

Direct Spark units are supplied with an ignition transformer lighter.

Pilot units are supplied with a pilot solenoid valve and automatic pressure regulator small – about 20,000 BTU – And a spark ignition transformer for the driver on.

Pre-purge the system (by starting the fan during a certain time to provide a minimum air volume change) before the main burner ignition is not required by ANSI, but is often specified by the user. To ensure the safe operation of a direct gas heating, a series of safety interlocks are commonly provided:

A. Regulatory limit – Shocks must be fully open before the unit will operate.

B. Air Flow Switch – Located outlet near the unit to test the air flow before lighting burner.

C. Flame monitoring – discussed above. Turn off the unit in case of flame failure.

D. high temperature limit – Unit signal to reduce the supply of gas when the temperature limit is reached. If the air temperature exceeds the limit, the unit is turned off.

E. high pressure gas Switch – Turns the surge protection unit of the pressure regulator inlet gas.

F. Low gas pressure switch – Turns the unit when it detects low inlet pressure. Redundant safety device, and also heat off the unit.

G. Safety Shutoff Valve – Answers various inputs mentioned above – closes the gas supply.

Direct gas-air heating systems are a class of equipment used primarily in industry and
commercial settings to provide comfort for workers. To a lesser extent, these systems
for air condition processes and applications finishing, such as drying and painting material
